Nuggets Defeat Grizzlies in OT, 139-137
The Denver Nuggets defeated the visiting Memphis Grizzlies on double-overtime, 139-137, at Ball Arena on Monday.

There were 10 ties and nine lead changes in this game, taking two overtimes to determine a winner. In fact, the Nuggets finished regulation on a 14-2 run across the final three minutes to get into overtime. There were numerous swings in the two overtimes from there but Denver started the second OT on a 14-9 spurt to prevail. Denver ended up shooting 50 percent from the field while holding Memphis to 48 percent shooting. The Nuggets also out-rebounded the Grizzles, 58-47, while outscoring them in the paint, 70-62.

The Grizzlies (29-27) were led by Ja Morant and his 36 points, eight rebounds, 12 assists and three steals. Grayson Allen amassed 24 points, three rebounds and three steals. Xavier Tillman generated 18 points, 14 rebounds and two steals. DeAnthony Melton led the bench with 25 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals.

The Nuggets (37-20) got another gem from Nikola Jokic, collecting 47 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists on 20-of-31 from the field. Will Barton totaled 28 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Michael Porter Jr finished with 21 points and seven boards while Paul Millsap and JaMychal Green led the bench with 12 points apiece.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Denver traveling to face the struggling Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis remaining on the road to play the Los Angeles Clippers.
