Warriors Top 76ers, 107-96
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 107-96, at Wells Fargo Center on Monday night.

The 76ers (39-18), owners of a 22-5 home record coming in, were unsurprisingly relatively heavy favorites for the interconference clash, but the Warriors (29-29) proved their mettle during a first half in which they matched their hosts bucket for bucket on the way to a 55-55 halftime tie. Golden State then played lockdown defense during a third period in which they gave up just 15 points, but Philadelphia came back to take a lead that it held for several minutes in the final period. However, the visitors ultimately sealed the win by finishing on a 16-4 run over the final 3:33, one that fittingly began with a pair of Stephen Curry free throws.

Curry led the Warriors with 49 points while shooting 10-for-17 from three-point range, and he added five assists and three rebounds. Andrew Wiggins posted a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included two assists and two blocks. Damion Lee furnished 12 points, six rebounds, one assist and one block. Draymond Green supplied eight points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Joel Embiid paced the 76ers with a 28-point, 13-rebound double-double that also included eight assists, one steal and one block. Seth Curry delivered 15 points, five assists and one steal. Matisse Thybulle totaled 13 points, seven boards, one assists, three steals and one block. Danny Green contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists and three steals. Furkan Korkmaz and Tyrese Maxey generated matching 10-point tallies while recording two assists and two rebounds, respectively.

The Warriors remain on the road and visit the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, while the 76ers remain home and host the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night as well.
