Spurs Throttle Pacers, 109-94
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Indiana Pacers, 109-94, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday night.

The Spurs (28-28) checked into the game with some extra confidence stemming from a 111-85 drubbing of the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night, and it seemed to show during a first quarter in which they outscored the Pacers (26-31) by a 36-21 margin. Indiana managed to whittle four points away from its deficit before halftime, but San Antonio managed to regain its advantage heading into the fourth quarter, allowing them to cruise to a double-digit win.

Derrick White led the Spurs with 25 points, complementing them with four assists, three rebounds and one steal. DeMar DeRozan supplied 18 points, eight boards, six assists and one block. Jakob Poeltl totaled 16 points, seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block. Keldon Johnson registered 14 points, six boards and two assists. Dejounte Murray managed 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert co-led the Pacers with 18 points apiece, with Brogdon adding six rebounds and five assists and LeVert posting four boards and two assists. Oshae Brissett compiled 13 points, six rebounds and one steal. T.J. McConnell provided eight points, five rebounds and four assists.

The Spurs return home to host the Miami Heat on Wednesday night, while the Pacers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night as well.
