Celtics Come From Behind To Defeat Nuggets
The Boston Celtics defeated the Denver Nuggets, 105-87, at Ball Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The Celtics (28-26) moved two games over the .500 mark and are undoubtedly on the rise of late, as they've won seven of their last 11 games, and they came from behind while looking absolutely dominant in the final 12 minutes of play to dispatch the Nuggets (34-19). Boston got off to a slow start and only scored 16 points in the first quarter, allowing Denver to lead by 11 points after the first quarter (27-16), but the Celtics closed the gap by winning both the second (29-24) and third (29-28) quarters, meaning the Nuggets were up by just five points with 12 minutes left in the game. That's when Boston looked at their best, though, outscoring Denver by an impressive 31-8 score and running away with the game despite the fact they were down most of the time. The Celtics shot 44.8 percent from the field and 21.2 percent from deep, while the Nuggets only made 36.4 percent of their shots and 23.5 percent of their three-point attempts.

Only five Celtics scored in double digits in this game, with Jayson Tatum leading the way after he posted 28 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Jaylen Brown recorded 20 points but also found a way to stuff the stat sheet, as he ended with eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Robert Williams III mustered 10 points with eight rebounds, while Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart each ended with 14 points as well.

Michael Porter Jr. carried the Nuggets offensively with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Nikola Jokic delivered another triple-double after ending with 17 points, 11 assists and 10 boards. Facundo Campazzo got another start and finished with 14 points while adding four assists, and Will Barton ended with 13 points. No other Denver player scored in double digits in this game.
