Clippers Defeat Pistons, 131-124
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the visiting Detroit Pistons, 131-124, at Staples Center on Sunday.

While there were only five ties and five lead changes in this game, there were some major swings. In fact, The Pistons led by 12 points near the end of the third quarter but the Clippers rode a 37-25 fourth quarter to their victory. Los Angeles had one of the best offensive performances of the season, shooting 63 percent from the field and 58 percent from three-point range. They did that while recording 35 assists. In addition, the Clippers won the second-chance scoring battle, 17-9.

The Pistons (16-38) were led by Josh Jackson and his 26 points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Seddiq Bey amassed 25 points, two assists and four steals. Cory Joseph accrued 18 points, five rebounds, 13 assists and two steals. Wayne Ellington had 15 points and four assists while Frank Jackson led the bench with 16 points.

The Clippers (37-18) were led by Marcus Morris, totaling 33 points and six rebounds on 13-of-18 from the field. Paul George tallied 32 points, three rebounds and nine assists. Ivica Zubac amassed 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Reggie Jackson accumulated 12 points, five rebounds and seven assists. Nicolas Batum led the bench with 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks.

On deck for Los Angeles is a road game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. Detroit is off until Wednesday, returning home for a rematch against these Clippers.
