Sacramento Kings at Golden State Warriors

Warriors Defeat Kings, 117-113
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 117-113, at Chase Center on Sunday.

It took nine ties and nine lead changes to determine a winner in this game, with neither team ever attaining a double-digit lead. Golden State made the final run though, finishing on an 8-2 across the final two minutes to prevail. The Warriors ended up out-rebounding the Kings, 52-38, while out-assisting them, 30-22. Golden State also outscored Sacramento in fastbreak points, 20-11, while outscoring them in the paint, 58-50.

The Kings (24-36) were led by Buddy Hield, generating 25 points, six rebounds and three assists. Tyrese Haliburton totaled 24 points, three rebounds and eight assists. Harrison Barnes had 23 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Richaun Holmes compiled 11 points and five boards but no other player had more than seven points.

The Warriors (31-30) were led by Stephen Curry, tallying 37 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Andrew Wiggins totaled 13 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals. Draymond Green collected eight points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists. Kelly Oubre Jr led the bench with 19 points and seven rebounds. Kevon Looney also had eight points and eight boards.

Sacramento has to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Monday, returning home to play the Dallas Mavericks. As for Golden State, they return to action on Tuesday in the same matchup.
