Nets Rally To Top Suns At Home
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the visiting Phoenix Suns, 128-119, at Barclays Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Suns got out to a good start on the road and held a five-point lead after a high-scoring first quarter. They carried the momentum into the second and pushed their lead up to 10, mid way through the quarter, but the Nets rallied back to make it a two-point game by halftime. The Nets turned it up a notch in the third and outscored the visitors by seven points in the quarter, to grab a five-point head heading into the final frame. They kept control in the fourth and rallied to a game-high 16-point lead, which was enough for them to cruise to the finish.

Kyrie Irving led the way for the Nets with 34 points, 12 assists and six rebounds, in 35 minutes. Kevin Durant added 33 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block, while Blake Griffin chipped in 16 points, five rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal. The Nets shot 52 percent from the field, including 13-of-28 from long range.

Meanwhile, Devin Booker led the Suns with 36 points on 12-of-24 shooting, in 37 minutes. Deandre Ayton totaled 20 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Torrey Craig chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds, off the bench. The Suns shot 47 percent from the field, including 12-of-34 from deep.

The Suns (42-18) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Knicks on Monday. The Nets (41-20) take on the Raptors on Tuesday.
