Wizards Topple Cavaliers, 119-110
The Washington Wizards defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 119-110, at Capital One Arena on Sunday night.

The Wizards (27-33) came into the contest looking to continue their somewhat improbable playoff push, but it was the Cavaliers (21-39) that looked like the sharper squad by building a 32-27 lead through one. However, Washington was able to eliminate its deficit and build a three-point edge going into intermission. The rollercoaster swung back in the direction of Cleveland in the third quarter, allowing them to take a six-point edge into the final period, There were multiple ties down the stretch until the home squad took the lead for good with 4:02 remaining, kicking off a game-ending 14-5 run to seal the victory.

Darius Garland led the way for the Cavaliers with 28 points, adding nine assists, four rebounds and one steal. Jarrett Allen generated a 27-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included two assists, three blocks and two steals. Cedi Osman supplied 19 points, five assists, two rebounds and one steal. Kevin Love turned in 12 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Isaac Okoro furnished 10 points, two rebounds and two assists.

Bradley Beal paced the Wizards with 33 points, supplementing them with six rebounds, three assists and one steal. Russell Westbrook managed 14 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and two steals. Raul Neto and Robin Lopez matched Westbrook's scoring, with Lopez also pulling down five rebounds. Daniel Gafford collected 12 points, six boards, two assists, four steals and four blocks.

The Cavaliers remain on the road and visit the Toronto Raptors in Tampa on Monday night, while the Wizards remain home and host the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night as well.
