Pacers Topple Pistons, 115-109
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Detroit Pistons, 115-109, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday night.

The Pistons (18-43) have nothing to play for at this point of the season and realistically could be incentivized to lose for draft purposes, but to their credit, they came back to take a three-point halftime lead after the Pacers (28-31) put them in a 10-point hole through the first 12 minutes. However, Indiana had regained a two-point advantage by the time the third quarter concluded, and a 10-1 run between the 4:06 and 2:42 marks of the final period gave them the necessary cushion to eventually notch a victory.

Jerami Grant led the Pistons with 25 points, complementing them with five rebounds and four assists. Mason Plumlee generated a 17-point, 21-rebound double-double that also included five assists and two blocks. Isaiah Stewart provided 13 points, five rebounds and two blocks. Cory Joseph and Josh Jackson managed matching 12-point, four-assist, two-rebound tallies.

Malcolm Brogdon paced Indiana with 26 points, supplementing them with eight rebounds, four assists and one block. Caris LeVert supplied 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. Edmond Sumner posted 22 points, two assists, one rebound, one steal and one block. Doug McDermott compiled 18 points and two assists. Oshae Brissett generated an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double that also included two assists and one block.

The Pistons return home to tangle with the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, while the Pacers visit the Orlando Magic on Sunday night.
