Clippers Bounce Back In Memphis
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the host Memphis Grizzlies, 119-99, at FedEx Forum on Friday evening.

The contest got out to a competitive start, with the Clippers holding a two-point lead after one quarter. The Clippers picked up the pace in the second, where they outscored the Grizzlies, 31-17, to take a 16-point lead into halftime. The Grizzlies came out stronger in the third, but they could not make any progress, as the Clippers pushed it to an 18-point game, heading into the fourth. The Clippers stayed in control through the fourth and held on for the win, to split the two-game series in Memphis.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 30 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and a block, in 34 minutes. Lou Williams added 17 points, four assists, two rebounds and a steal, while Paul George tallied 13 points, eight assists, four rebounds, a steal and a block. The Clippers shot 55 percent from the field, including 14-of-35 from long range.

Meanwhile, Jonas Valanciunas led the Grizzlies with 22 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 32 minutes. Ja Morant added 20 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals, while De'Anthony Melton chipped in 16 points, three rebounds two assists and a block. The Grizzlies shot 40 percent from the field, including 9-of-28 from long range.

The Grizzlies (14-15) will look to bounce back as they take on the Rockets on Sunday. The Clippers (24-11) take on the Bucks in Milwaukee on Sunday.
