Kings Rally, Secure Win Over Pistons
The Sacramento Kings defeated the Detroit Pistons, 110-107, at Little Caesars Arena on Friday evening.

The Kings (13-20) and the Pistons (9-24) played a tight, back-and-forth contest between two struggling franchises -- and the game was only decided in the final seconds of the contest. The Kings grabbed an early 10-point lead following the first quarter (35-25), but the Pistons quickly flipped the script and won both the second and third quarters, 27-20 and 28-20, respectively, to grab a five-point lead ahead of the final 12 minutes of action. The Kings had to mount a comeback and that's exactly what they did, outscoring the Pistons 35-27 in the final quarter to march towards victory. With the win, the Kings ended their back-to-back set with a 1-1 record, while the Pistons continue to show why they're one of the worst teams in The Association.

De'Aaron Fox carried the Kings offensively and finished with 27 points, six assists, five rebounds and two blocks, while Richaun Holmes delivered a monster double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds. Harrison Barnes contributed 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, while Marvin Bagley chipped in with 19 points and eight boards. Buddy Hield finished 14 points, as every member of the Kings' starting five recorded 10 or more points.

Jerami Grant carried the Pistons offensively once again and finished with 30 points and seven rebounds. Saddiq Bey and Dennis Smith each posted matching 17-point tallies, with Bey adding six rebounds and Smith contributing six assists. Josh Jackson had another strong performance and delivered 14 points and five rebounds across 28 minutes off the bench. Mason Plumlee had six points, nine boards and six assists.
