Mavericks Defeat Celtics In Final Seconds
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Boston Celtics, 110-107, at American Airlines Center on Tuesday evening.

The Mavericks (15-15) and the Celtics (15-16) played a tight contest that went down the wire, and the matchup was decided in the final seconds of the game. Dallas got off to a better start and earned a three-point edge in the first quarter (34-31), but the Celtics responded with a 25-21 second quarter that fetched them a one-point advantage. Dallas grabbed the lead once again with a 25-20 score in the fourth quarter, but the Celtics responded and the game remained close in the final seconds. In fact, a lay-up from Jaylen Brown tied everything at 107-107 with only a few seconds left in the game, but Luka Doncic had the final saying about what was going to happen. The star guard drained the game-winning three with 0.1 seconds left on the clock and lifted the Mavericks to a huge win that puts them at the .500 mark once again.

Luka Doncic made the game-winning shot and led the Mavericks offensively with 31 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Jalen Brunson had a magnificent game off the bench and chipped in with 22 points, two rebounds and two assists. Jason Richardson posted 16 points and four boards while Tim Hardaway Jr. ended with 14 points and three dimes coming off the bench. Dallas shot 47.2 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from deep.

Jaylen Brown paced the Celtics with a 29-point performance while also adding seven rebounds and five assists, and Jayson Tatum chipped in with 28 points, six rebounds and four assists. Kemba Walker ended with 21 points and four rebounds despite shooting 4-for-11 from deep. The Celtics shot 47.1 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from three-point range in the loss.
