Nets Notch Seventh Straight Win
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 127-118, at Barclays Center on Tuesday evening.

The Nets got out to a great start at home with a, 42-28, lead after one quarter. The Kings responded in the second, where they outscored the hosts by eight points, to cut it to a six-point game by halftime. The Kings stayed strong in the third quarter and kept it a close game as they managed to trim the deficit to just two points, heading into the final frame. However, the Nets picked up the pace in the fourth and rallied ahead to a double digit lead late in the quarter. This marks the seventh straight win for the Nets, while it marks the eighth straight loss for the Kings.

James Harden led the way for the Nets with 29 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds and a steal, in 40 minutes. Bruce Brown added 29 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Kyrie Irving totaled 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals. The Nets shot 49 percent from the field, including 17-of-40 from long range.

Meanwhile, De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 27 points, eight assists and a block, in 38 minutes. Tyrese Haliburton followed up with 23 points, nine assists, five rebounds, three steals and a block, while Harrison Barnes added 18 points, three rebounds and a steal. The Kings shot 52 percent from the field, including 15-of-31 from long range.

The Kings (12-19) will look to tend the slide as they take on the Knicks in New York on Thursday. The Nets (21-12) play host to the Magic on Thursday.
