Spurs Look To End Five-Game Slide
The San Antonio Spurs play host to the Los Angeles Clippers at AT&T Center on Saturday evening.

This marks the second game of a back-to-back for the Spurs (15-27), as they are coming off a tough home loss against the Cavs on Friday. They trailed early in the contest but kept it to a five-point deficit by halftime. They came out stronger in the third and outscored the visitors by seven, to take a two-point lead into the final frame. However, the Spurs lost their grip in crunch time and fell short for their fifth straight loss. Dejounte Murray led the team with 30 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists, in the loss, while Keldon Johnson followed up with 18 points, five rebounds and two assists, and Bryn Forbes chipped in 15 points, off the bench. This marks the third game of a seven-game home stand for the Spurs, as they will look to end the slide and add to their, 7-12, home record. Derrick White (COVID-19) has missed the last four games and remains questionable for action.

Meanwhile, the Clippers (21-22) will look to bounce back from a loss in their most recent contest and add to their, 7-10, road record. The Clippers continue to deal with injury trouble, as Paul George (elbow) and Luke Kennard (COVID-19) will be sidelined, while Isaiah Hartenstein (ankle) is listed as questionable for action. Marcus Morris is averaging 18.8 points and 4.6 rebounds and will need to come up big to help lead the way. Amir Coffey will continue to pick up big minutes, as he is averaging 11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists, over the last 10 games. The Clippers are averaging 104.3 points per game, which is fifth fewest in the league.
