Pelicans and Nets Meet in Big Apple
The New Orleans Pelicans take on the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Saturday night.

The Pelicans (16-26) have endured more than fair share of struggles this season, but they'll enter Saturday's interconference clash having won two straight and three of the past four overall. Their most recent success came at the expense of the Los Angeles Clippers, which they throttled by a 113-89 score Thursday night. Brandon Ingram paced the Pelicans with 24 points, supplementing them with six assists, five rebounds and one steal. Jonas Valanciunas posted an 18-point, 16-rebound double-double. Herbert Jones totaled 14 points, six boards, three assists and three steals. Devonte' Graham and Jaxson Hayes contributed 13 points apiece, with Graham also managing seven assists and six rebounds. Josh Hart turned in 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal.

The Pelicans will remain without Zion Williamson (foot) for Saturday's game.

The Nets (26-15) have had an uneven body of work of late, as they'll enter Saturday's contest having posted a 5-6 mark over the last 11 games. Their most recent time on the court resulted in one of those losses, as they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 130-109. James Harden led the Nets with 26 points, supplementing them with nine assists, seven rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Cam Thomas registered 21 points, three boards and one steal. David Duke managed 13 points, five rebounds, one assist and one block. Bruce Brown compiled 10 points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks.

The Nets will be without Kyrie Irving (ankle) and LaMarcus Aldridge (foot) for Saturday's contest. Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) will be listed as questionable.

Saturday's contest marks the second and final meeting between the teams this season. The Nets hold a 1-0 series lead, having notched a 120-112 win Nov. 12.
