Mavs Close Out Confident Home Win
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, 102-92, at American Airlines Center on Monday evening.

The Mavs got out to a great start at home with a, 26-13, lead after one quarter. They stayed in in control through the second and managed to push their lead as high as 23 points, before halftime. The Grizzlies had no answers in the second half, as the Mavs maintained their cushion through the third. Despite the Grizzlies continuing to fight down to the final buzzer, the Mavs had no trouble hanging on for the home win.

Tim Hardaway Jr. led the way for the Mavericks with 29 points on 9-of-14 shooting, in 28 minutes off the bench. Luka Doncic totaled 21 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block, while Jalen Brunson chipped in 18 points seven rebounds, three assists and a steal. The Mavs shot 44 percent from the field, including 15-of-41 from long range.

Meanwhile, Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 22 points, nine assists, four rebounds and two steals, in 33 minutes. Jonas Valanciunas added 11 points, 15 rebounds and a block, while Brandon Clarke chipped in 11 points, four rebounds and a steal. The Grizzlies shot 39 percent from the field, including just 6-of-31 from deep.

The Grizzlies (13-14) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Clippers on Thursday. The Mavericks (14-15) play host to the Celtics on Tuesday.
