Tatishvili announced via Twitter that she has medically retired.

Tatishvili has played sparingly over the last few years due to a number of injuries. She said in here post that, "due to recurring injuries my body is not allowing me to play competitive tennis any longer." Tatishvili's last competitive start came last June.
