Ray (undisclosed) withdrew from his scheduled fight against Marc Diakiese on Monday, MMAFighting.com reports.

However, the third round was a different story. Ray scored a takedown and took the back. From there he got loose with his striking and ended up landing 28 significant ground strikes. A 10-8 score for the third round would have been entirely warranted. Instead, two of the three judges awarded 29-28 cards to Ray. The Scottish fighter needed this win as he had lost three of his last four prior to this fight.
