Out due to weight-cutting issues

July 14, 2020
Bergh will no longer face Jorge Gonzalez at UFC Fight Island on Wednesday after he was forced to withdraw due to weight cutting issues, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bergh was in line to be a betting favorite in his UFC debut, but was unable to make the weight for this late addition to the card. It doesn't appear the company will be able to find a replacement for Gonzalez with the fight just a day away. It's unclear what this means for Bergh's future with the UFC.

To kick off July 15 card
Light HeavyweightOther
July 13, 2020
Bergh will take on Jorge Gonzalez in a light heavyweight matchup at a UFC Fight Night event July 15, Alexander K. Lee of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bergh is an undefeated prospect who has appeared across various promotions, even competing on Dana White's Contender Series in the summer of 2019. He did technically lose that matchup against Trocoli, but it was later ruled a no-contest after Trocoli failed a drug test. Bergh will now face another fighter making his debut in a fight set to open up the card. Gonzalez is a journeyman himself, compiling a 16-4-0 pro record. Bergh is approximately a (-165) betting favorite for the bout as of Monday morning.
