2023 Fantasy Outlook
Detroit had an opportunity to save a few million against the salary cap by letting Reynolds walk this offseason, but the Lions instead let DJ Chark leave and only replaced him with the 33-year-old Marvin Jones. Then, Jameson Williams was hit with a six-game suspension to start the year without Detroit using any significant draft capital to restock the position, and Reynolds suddenly is positioned to be a key part of the offense to begin the 2023 campaign. Whether he maintains that standing throughout the year will depend on Jones' durability and Williams' ability to integrate himself into the offense post-ban. Read Past Outlooks

Joining Denver's WR corps
Reynolds agreed Wednesday with the Broncos on a two-year contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Garafolo, Reynolds' deal with Denver is worth a maximum of $14 million. The wideout, who turned 29 years old last month, is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he caught 40 of his 64 targets for 608 yards and five touchdowns in 17 regular-season contests for Detroit. With the Broncos, Reynolds will help fill the void created by the recent trade of Jerry Jeudy to the Browns. Reynolds will have a chance to compete with Tim Patrick (Achilles) and Marvin Mims for targets behind No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton.

Latching on with Broncos
The deal Reynolds inked with the Broncos on Wednesday is worth up to $14 million over two years, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wide receiver heads into a situation where he should have his fair share of opportunity, considering Denver traded away Jerry Jeudy to the Browns earlier this offseason. Marvin Mims and Tim Patrick are also on hand behind clear-cut No. 1 option Courtland Sutton, but there are experience and durability issues associated with the duo that could help open a path to a solid role for Reynolds.

After being waived by Tennessee midseason, Reynolds was a breath of fresh air for a bottom-feeding Lions receiving corps in the second half of the year. The instant success he found likely had something to do with the fact that he spent his first four seasons in the league in Los Angeles with Jared Goff. However, Reynolds had almost no competition for snaps at perimeter receiver. Now, he has to compete with 2018 second-round pick DJ Chark and 2022 No. 12 pick Jameson Williams. While Williams could miss games to begin the year while he works his way back from a college ACL injury, Reynolds largely will have to fend off Quintez Cephus and Kalif Raymond just to keep hold of the No. 4 spot on the depth chart.
