Kyle Peko

Peko will vie for the chance to back up his cousin, Domata Peko, at nose tackle in 2017, his primarily challengers being 2017 undrafted free agent Tyrique Jarrett and free agent pickup Zach Kerr. Undrafted in 2016, Peko split his time between the practice squad and active roster and finished his rookie season with two tackles. Peko fits the mold of the smaller, shiftier noseguards that have succeeded in the one-gap scheme Wade Phillips implemented in Denver and the current staff will reportedly keep. If he gets opportunities, he’s shown that he can be more than a space-eater, tallying 45 tackles, two sacks, and two passes defensed during his senior season at Oregon State.
