RNG vs. RW

Sunday morning marks the last LPL matches before playoffs begin and our slate kicks off with two teams who are out of the playoff race just playing for some glory and something to look forward to when Spring rolls around. With both teams out of playoffs, the possibility of mid-game substitutions are always in play and something to look out for. That being said, as of Game 1, the normal starters will be going for this series. XLB and Xiaohu lead the team in kills with 121 and 113 respectively while also holding the highest kill participation on the team. I think Gala will be looking to put up a good performance Sunday to show Royal Never Give Up he can stay on the roster going forward and making him the clear choice over Betty. I expect RNG to get a win here to end the Summer on a high note.

Prediction to Win: RNG 2-1

RNG Players to Target: XLB ($7,200), Xiaohu ($7,800), Gala ($8,000)

T1 vs. DYN

The playoff race is tight for T1 and Gen.G as to who will grab the third spot in the LCK with the first two locked down.

T1 vs. DYN

The playoff race is tight for T1 and Gen.G as to who will grab the third spot in the LCK with the first two locked down. T1 takes on a weak Dynamics team who is still technically in the playoff race but will need to win out while the rest of the teams above them lose out which doesn't seem likely. Teddy is still by far the kill leader for T1 with 152 kills this split. Canna in the top lane is also having a great split sitting with 110 kills and I could see Canna getting some solo kills in this series while in lane. We won't know who will be in the mid lane for T1 since rosters won't be out before the first game of the slate kicks off. Clozer has been the mid laner in the last few series when they are going up against bottom tier LCK teams and that's the situation we find ourselves in for Sunday. T1 will have an easy opportunity to sweep the series quickly against DYN and is the safest option on this slate.

Prediction to Win: T1 2-0

T1 Players to Target: Everyone on T1

FPX vs. SN

Both of FunPlus Phoenix and Suning are locked into playoffs and have a chance to move up one more spot in the rankings. SN has to win this series with a clean sweep and then have Invictus Gaming lose to Vici Gaming later in the day for SN to take the third seed away from IG. FPX just needs to win the series to move up into the sixth spot and take it away from LGD. FPX have the more likely scenario out of the two since IG will beat VG most of the time. Lwx leads the team in kills with 139 this split while Doinb is now the one in second with 132 kills. Tian, Doinb and Lwx all have a kill participation above 70 percent which leads me to believe they are a good 3-man stack for this series. With FPX being in control of their destiny here I see them coming out and taking this series with a bit more on their shoulders needing the win to move past LGD. I don't see this ending in a sweep for FPX though since I think SN are still live to take a game off FPX if things go wrong in the late game.

Prediction to Win: FPX 2-1

FPX Players to Target: Tian ($6,600), Doinb ($8,000), Lwx ($7,600)

IG vs. VG

The last series to wrap up the LPL regular season features Invictus Gaming who have turned around a shaky start to the season. IG is currently sitting in third place but can't break into the top two due to the game differential totals. Since they can't break into the top two, IG will be starting Southwind at support for the first game who can possibly be subbed out for one of the other two supports on IG's roster. VG are starting with Leyan in the jungle who hasn't had a great season and would sometimes be replaced with Aix, so VG's jungle position isn't locked in for the series. Puff leads the team in kills with a large lead, sitting with 172 kills while the second spot goes to TheShy with 130 for the split. Everyone on IG except TheShy holds a 65 percent or higher kill participation which is very good for stacking. There is a slight chance VG gets a good draft and an early lead through aggression and take a game off IG, so the sweep isn't guaranteed.

Prediction to Win: IG 2-1

IG Players to Target: TheShy ($6,400), Rookie ($7,600), Puff ($7,800)

 KT vs. GEN

Like our previous LCK series, this one is also must-win motivation for Gen.G if they want to keep their third seed in the LCK standings. On the other side of the Rift, KT Rolster needs to get a win here to close the gap between themselves and Afreeca who holds the last spot in playoffs right now. This match is heavily favored towards Gen.G, who are the second safest option on the slate if you don't want to go with T1. Ruler at the ADC position leads the kill total this split with 160, while Bdd in the mid lane is a bit behind him with 123 kills. Ruler also holds a 71 percent kill participation while the rest of the team sits in the mid 60 range. GEN have an advantage in every lane which will make it a very uphill battle for KT to be competitive in this series.

Prediction to Win: GEN 2-0

GEN Players to Target: Everyone on GEN
