Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm confirmed that Johnson will be available for Saturday's season opener versus Iowa after the NCAA and Big Ten approved his request for a waiver, Tom Dienhart of GoldandBlack.com reports.

With his transfer situation now having been resolved, Johnson will face a familiar opponent in his Purdue debut, as the cornerback spent his first three seasons of college with the Hawkeyes.
