Pursuing transfer
Carr placed his name in the NCAA's transfer portal Sept. 28, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
After announcing in January that he was leaving Texas Tech, Carr revealed in May that he would join Hawaii as a graduate transfer this season. Though the Mountain West Conference now plans to begin its season Oct. 24 after previously announcing that football games wouldn't be played this fall, Carr apparently won't be a part of the Hawaii roster. The 6-foot-4 tight end could still look to resume his career elsewhere in 2021, as the NCAA is granting blanket waivers to all players this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
