Moving on to next level
FFlorida State
April 6, 2022
Polite will forego his final year of collegiate eligibility and put his name in the 2022 NBA Draft, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Polite's time with the Seminoles started all the way back in the 2017-18 season in which he took a redshirt after appearing in just one game. He gradually expanded his role every season since before becoming a full-time starter in 2021-22, where he posted 9.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists -- the latter two representing career highs. While the free COVID year would have allowed Polite to return, the 24-year-old will instead move on with his career and explore opportunities at the next level.
