DFS Amateur Hour - Bankroll Update

So this happened again, extending my getting-shut-out streak to three slates. Is it time to re-think my approach?

I don't think so. If you look at Friday's contests, I set six unique ones (I doubled-up on the Tout entry because I'd hate to put up 75 points and only win only $60.) Of those six, three were in the top third. It wasn't good enough to cash in the large-field tournaments I entered, but I wasn't too far off. My problem of late has been picking the wrong pitchers. Not all have been disasters, but I've paid up for the wrong ace, or bought aces on nights when no one pitched that well. Earlier in the year, picking the right pitchers was my strength, and all I had to do was match up a few good stacks and stray value picks.

Bottom line, I think the aces will continue to earn their keep more often than not, and I'll be able to pick the right ones at a better clip. Optimism aside, Friday's zero-cash cost me another $50, bringing my bankroll down to $1022.60. I did enter a $5 MLB Rally today, and I'm pretty sure that'll result in a $12.50 cash (the Sunday night game is still pending.) Assuming that's the case, my bankroll will be $1030.10. If for some reason I'm wrong, I'll amend the total on Monday or Tuesday.
