I started this project thinking I was better-suited to large-field tournaments, but the more I play I see the appeal of cash games, 50/50s and Double Ups. On Friday, I threw together a quick lineup with Felix Hernandez, who got 22 points, but I fell short of cashing in the one $10 tournament I played (77th out of 229.) That brings my bankroll to $982.

(I also failed to cash in the Tout Wars and RotoWire contests, but those are separate and don't count toward my bankroll because they're industry-perk free-rolls.) The problem with Friday's lineups was simple: I didn't get any home runs.

I also vowed not to track my players Friday and made good on it through the early games before cheating, then caving entirely as the west coast ones finished up. Maybe I'll renew my vows at some point this week.
