My FSTA Draft

The FSTA draft took place Tuesday afternoon in Minneapolis. It's a 14-team, full PPR, 1-QB, 2-RB, 3-WR, 1-FLX, 1-TE, 1-K and 1-D. I drew the ninth pick. Here are the results:

.9 Odell Beckham - I knew I'd probably be choosing between Beckham and Kareem Hunt. No wrong answer there, but I'm a big Beckham fan and think he could have a career year in Pat Shurmur's system.

.6 Mike Evans - I considered Devonta Freeman and Doug Baldwin, but am worried about Freeman's concussion history and think the 6-5 Evans has more upside than the 5-10 Baldwin.

.9 T.Y. Hilton - If Andrew Luck really is healthy, Hilton should be a second-round pick. He has little competition for targets on this team.

.6 Mark Ingram - I was set to take Kenyan Drake here, but changed my mind at the last second. Ingram would be a second-rounder if he weren't suspended, and I'll have him for the fantasy playoffs.

.9 Tarik Cohen - In full PPR, he should have a lot of value on a team without many receiving options. Almost like a WR with 80-100 carries.

.6 Chris Hogan - A nice hedge to Ingram as Hogan will peak during the season's first four weeks with Julian Edelman out and offset some of the lost RB production.

.9 Aaron Jones - Our projections have him splitting carries with Jamaal Williams, but there's a chance he wins the starting job outright, and he's the better receiver.

.6 Delanie Walker - Quite possibly the Titans' top target.

.9 George Kittle - Second-year TE with good athleticism should have a significant role.

.6 Jimmy Garoppolo - Should only get better in Year 2 with Kyle Shanahan.

.9 Chris Godwin - Impressive rookie year, should have a bigger role in 2018.

.6 Rams Defense - Loaded unit playing in a weak division.

.9 Justin Tucker - GOAT, and league scores 50-yarders as five points.

.6 Jordan Matthews - Could win a significant role in camp.

.9 Terrance West - Could have Mark Ingram role for four weeks.

.6 Lamar Jackson - Would be a monster due to his rushing ability should he ever get the job.
