Betting - Papa Needs a New Wallet

Record 7-14

Bank Account -1091

Cubs at Brewers - My guy Jeff Samardzija takes the hill for the Cubs with a 3-1 record and a 3.03 ERA. He looks like the real deal to me. My only concern as usual with the Cubs is their lack of hitting. Marco Estrada takes the hill for the Brewers who is 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA. Buyer beware...Ryan Braun owns Samardaija. I like the Cubs to avoid the sweep.

TV's Take: Cubs +102/Bet $100 to win $102

Braves at Cards - One of my favorite pitchers over the last few years has been Tommy Hanson, but this year he is just doesn't seem as dominant. Then again Carlos Beltran may not be looking forward to seeing Mr. Hanson as he is 0-10 lifetime vs him. Lance Lynn takes the hill for the Cards in his first start vs the Braves. Bingo.....remember what I have said recently about being careful of pitchers who have never faced a team before? Well, Lynn fits the bill better than most as he is off to a great start at 6-0 with a 1.40 ERA. He would be your All-Star Game starter at this point. Chipper Jones and Brian McCann will sit this game for the Braves. Lance Berkmann returns for the Cards.

TV's Take: Cards -147/Bet $294 to win $200

Rockies at Dodgers - Oh, my. Oh, my. Ted Lilly at home vs Alex White. Need I remind you that Lilly is 9-2 vs the Rockies lifetime and this season has an ERA of 0.90 at home. My man crush on Lilly is in part to stealing him as a sleeper in fantasy, but my goodness he is pitching like Koufax. I'm taking the Dodgers big and taking the run line.

TV's Take: Dodgers -1.5 runs +155/Bet $100 to win $155 and Dodgers -137/Bet $411 to win $300 - LOVE THIS GAME!

I am also going to start keeping track of my AAA picks (not good enough to make the majors) which I will only keep track of the record.

AAA picks: Rangers U8.5, Tor -140, and Yanks O10.5.
