Picks, 8|FRONTS|10|FRONTS|10

How far are we from having to take the Orioles as a favorite? A week? Two weeks? You know it's coming.

These f|STAR||STAR||STAR|in' long nights are killing me...

Tampa Bay/Detroit under 8.5 (-110), two units. Max Scherzer has been very good since his return to the majors, and Jeremy Hellickson should have been starting all year long. The only thing I'm unsure about is that the Tigers are close to a full lineup again. We'll go with it.

Toronto -122, one unit. Debated this one even as I'm writing it. I'll take the better starter at home against the least-healthy of the two teams.

Arizona/Milwaukee over 9 (+100)
, three units. If it's a trap, I'm caught, but I don't see these two starters, these two staffs and this park making any sense at this number.

New York (AL)/Texas under 10 (-110), two units
. The Yankees lineup tonight, against C.J. Wilson, is a cry for help. The Rangers' offense hasn't been that effective in the second half as Vladimir Guerrero returns to earth and injuries take their toll.
