Recent ADP Trends

In doing research for my upcoming team in the World Championship of Fantasy Football's main event, I've been following APD data closely at Mock Draft Central from WCOFF-format leagues where many WCOFF members practice.

Here are some recent movers the past week:

Player  / Pos / Team / ADP / |PERCENT| Change Last Week
Knowshon Moreno   RB    DEN    39.05    -5.60|PERCENT|
Brett Favre    QB   MIN    105.24    -5.10|PERCENT|
Sidney Rice    WR          MIN    33.09    -4.90|PERCENT|
Antonio Bryant    WR      CIN    130.92    -4.80|PERCENT|
Rashard Mendenhall    RB    PIT    15.02    -4.70|PERCENT|
Julian Edelman    WR    NE    95    -4.20|PERCENT|

Moreno hurt his hamstring and will miss a few weeks. Favre has doubts about returning (although I have no doubt since he's been "running the Oak Grove High School stadium steps while wearing a weighted vest" according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune). Rice is on the PUP list with a hip issue. Bryant probably gets fewer touches with T.O. signed in Denver. Edelman's value drops each day Wes Welker looks more fit.
But why the doubts on Mendenhall? After all,  new offensive line coach Sean Kugler says he wants to employ a more physical, power-based scheme on the offensive line.

Player  / Pos / Team / ADP / |PERCENT| Change Last Week
Terrell Owens    WR    CIN    98.29    12.60|PERCENT|
Wes Welker    WR    NE    80.57    10.70|PERCENT|
Miles Austin    WR    DAL    18.36    8.20|PERCENT|
Marion Barber    RB    DAL    70.88    4.90|PERCENT|
Tony Romo    QB    DAL    39.84    4.60|PERCENT|
Devin Aromashodu    WR    CHI    119.26    4.30|PERCENT|
Arian Foster    RB    HOU    159.26    3.90|PERCENT|

Foster has the lead on the RB job early in camp. Early reports on Barber are good and suddenly Felix Jones doesn't seem a lock to get the bulk of touches. Wes Welker looks healthier each day. T.O. found a team.

The bigger questions here are the increasing love for the Dallas passing game. Romo and Austin continue to rise. Aromashodu seems to be getting rave review from fantasy analysts, but reports say Johnny Knox is emerging as Jay Cutler's top target.

Anyway, food for thought. I'll be tracking these trends. I highly recommend checking out the ADP Trend Report on Mock Draft Central.
