Picks, 6|FRONTS|10|FRONTS|10

Boy, I needed that like the Flyers need a goalie.  Today's card is huge, I could have easily cracked double figures in picks.

San Francisco/Cincinnati over 8.5 (-125), 1.5 units. I could have taken SF +183, like last night's Seattle/Texas game, I'm on the fence as to which is better. This puts me on Todd Wellemeyer's lack of talent, though, as well as being a pseudo-fade of Mike Leake. We'll be doing that a lot for the next few weeks. He's had a weak schedule and I'm not at all convinced he's durable.

Chicago (AL) -123, two units. Hello, John Danks. Taking advantage of a deflated line with him coming off two bad starts.

Milwaukee +114, 1.5 units. David Bush has provided seven quality starts or near-quality starts in his last nine. The other two were unmitigated disasters. That's just who he is. I'll take him at home with plus money.

Oakland -105, two units. You know who's starting.

Baltimore +200, one unit. I never learn. I do like Jake Arrieta, dating back to Jason Grey pimping him to me a few years back at the Arizona Fall League.

Tampa Bay -139, two units.  The recent performance of Wade Davis is holding down this line. It's a bargain for the best team in baseball at home against a wildly overrated Jays team.

I didn't even fade Dontrelle Willis (eet hurts, doesn't it?) or take an over 6.0. See? Control. I may post a pick on the Mets/Padres second game depending on how the first plays out.
