SATURDAY – FINAL @ MADRID 2:45pm ET
INTER MILAN (pick -150; 2 goals over -125) vs. BAYERN MUENCHEN
Inter edged Siena 1-0 on Sunday to win another Italian Scudetto; Bayern thumped Bremen 4-0 on Saturday to win the German Cup.

Both these teams have won domestic doubles this season. The winner of this match will truly be Europe's best. I'm betting on Inter Milan, for a couple of reasons.

First, I think Inter's coach, known as the Special One, is the world's best. Jose Mourinho has had a week to put the game plan in for this one, and I think Inter will have the edge because of it. We saw another example of the Special One's wizardry on Sunday. Needing a goal against Siena, Mourinho sent in Goran Pandev off the bench.

Pandev didn't score the goal that came two minutes later, but the goal was a direct result of the formation change that Pandev brought with him. Siena was confused. As soon as Inter scored, Mourinho made a separate switch to bring back the old formation to stymie Siena.

Second, I think there's a fair amount of speculation in the market that Inter can't score goals. That's nonsense. Throughout his coaching career, Special One has been known as a defensive coach. The second-leg, all-out-defend strategy against Barcelona is stuck in everybody's mind. But look more closely.

Inter led the Italian league with 75 goals in 38 games. (Second place Roma was next with 68.) Aside from the Barcelona game, a special circumstance once Thiago Motta was sent off, Inter has not been held scoreless since March 7 vs. Genoa.

Bayern's an excellent team; Inter is better

Thiago Motta is suspended for Inter. Franck Ribery is suspended for Bayern.

Lineups (STC):

Inter (4-4-2 diamond): Cesar; Chivu, Samuel, Lucio, Maicon; Cambiasso (holding), Stankovic, Zanetti, Sneijder (attacking); Eto'o, Milito.

Bayern (4-2-2-2): Butt; Badstuber, Demichelis, v. Buyten, Lahm; Schweinsteiger, v. Bommel; Muller, Robben; Olic, Gomez.

Pick: Inter 2, Bayern 0.
