Picks, 4|FRONTS|21|FRONTS|10

A unit a day keeps the doctor away.

New York (NL) -105. I've faded the Cubs on four of the last five days, winning all four times. The decision to send Carlos Zambrano to the bullpen is not likely to change that pattern.

Chicago (AL) +100. John Danks outpitched David Price.

Oakland +143. Probably pushed it with this one, as I wasn't sold on Gio Gonzalez and let myself get carried away with the idea that Javier Vazquez could be worse. Just a bad play.

Tonight, short card:

Cincinnati +136, one unit. Starting pitcher matchup is a toss-up, teams are roughly even, and I get  the home team. The entire NL is spaced closely enough to make plus-money in many situations viable.

Chicago (NL)/New York (NL), over 8.5 (-120), 1.5 units. Carlos Silva, Oliver Perez and the Cubs bullpen, plus I get a lineup full of good right-handed batters against Ollie.

The A's are +135 or so behind Ben Sheets, but let's see them beat a good team first.
