SNY's Mike Salfino has a good discussion of the Giants' situation. He thinks they should opt for Boldin, but that Edwards is who they'll end up with.

I agree with Salfino on the latter point, but I think Edwards is the better target anyway, largely because Boldin is so injury prone. Edwards also has the ability to stretch the field, which is important for a team with a power running game because it puts the defense in a tough predicament, i.e., do they bring a safety to the line of scrimmage or not.
