With this second deal, the Knick rotation starts to make a lot more sense:

Guards:
Chris Duhon, Mobley, Nate Robinson, Quentin Richardson, Anthony Roberson

Forwards:
Wilson Chandler, Al Harrington, David Lee, Tim Thomas

Centers:
Jared Jeffries, Malik Rose, Eddy Curry

For fantasy purposes, the big question is, who starts at the two? You could make a case for Mobley, for Richardson, or even for Robinson. I suspect it will be Mobley, at least initially -- I think Mike D'Antoni likes the energy that Robinson and Wilson Chandler bring to the second unit.

And don't forget -- it was Tim Thomas' performance during his brief stint in Phoenix that earned him his free-agent contract with the Clippers. We already know he's a good fit for D'Antoni's system. Could he be the Knicks' new starting center?

Either way, as I mentioned in my first Knick post of the night, the top seven-to-eight guys in D'Antoni's rotation will be worth owning... though the new-look Knicks seem a bit less explosive offensively without Crawford and Randolph.

As for the Clippers end of the deal, Randolph is an excellent low-post scorer who will replace Elton Brand's role in the offense. The only problem is, Randolph had a lot of problems last season adapting to sharing the floor with another low-post big man. He can probably play with Marcus Camby... but where does that leave Chris Kaman? One of the Clipper big men will wind up with a big downgrade as a result of this deal.
