Personal Bio/PreCareer Summary

A multi-sport athlete who played baseball and football in addition to basketball, Adam Flagler left Duluth High School in Duluth, Georgia as the school's all-time leader in points (1,300) and threes (227) while earning two all-county selections. For college, he started as a freshman at Presbyterian - the lone NCAA Division I program to offer him a scholarship. After an impressive season in which he was named Big South Freshman of the Year, Flagler transferred to Baylor, where he came off the bench for all of his 28 appearances as a sophomore in 2020-21, playing a sixth-man role during the school's first-ever National Championship. The guard earned a full-time starting role as a junior and was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. During his senior campaign, he was named to the All-Big 12 First Team behind 15.6 points on 43/40/79 shooting, 4.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Flagler is a scoring-tilted guard that can play both backcourt spots, though he'd be undersized at the two. His best asset is his three-point shooting, as he drilled 2.5 threes at 40.0 percent as a senior and 2.4 threes at 38.7 percent as a junior. His passing has improved over the years, but it's far from his calling card. Flagler's quickness will allow him to be pesky on the defensive end. Flagler fits the mold of other smaller, sparkplug scoring guards who love the three like Cameron Payne and Brandon Jennings, though his pesky defense gives him some similarities to Kirk Hinrich. A team that lacks bench punch could draft and try to utilize Flagler right out of the gate, and it's easy to envision him becoming a sixth man. His passing may need to improve for Flagler to reach starter level.

Dominant in G League win
GOklahoma City Blue   G League (Thunder)
April 8, 2024
Flagler tallied 21 points (6-15 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal across 30 minutes Sunday in the G League Oklahoma City Blue's 114-107 win over the Stockton Kings in the Western Conference Finals of the G League playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Flagler's hot streak continues, as he's now scored a combined 72 points across the Blue's three playoff wins. The two-way player will now prepare for the G League Finals series versus the Maine Celtics that begins Tuesday, after which he'll presumably rejoin the Thunder for the remainder of the regular season.
