Bucks Hold On For Home Win
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, 126-114, at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday evening.

The contest got out to a high-scoring start as the Bucks led, 36-30, after one quarter. They kept the pressure on in the second and outscored the visitors by eight points in the quarter, to make it a 14-point game by halftime. The Grizzlies came out stronger and poured in 40 points in the third, which was enough to cut it back down to a nine-point game, heading into the final frame. However, the Bucks kept the upper hand through the fourth and held off a late push by the Grizzlies, to close out the home win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 33 points, 15 rebonds, seven assists, two steals and a block, in 31 minutes. Khris Middleton followed up with 27 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and a block, while Bobby Portis and George Hill chipped in 14 points each. The Bucks shot 48 percent from the field, including 13-of-37 from long range.

Meanwhile, Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 33 points, eight rebounds and 14 assists, in 39 minutes. Jaren Jackson followed up with 29 points, nine rebounds and four blocks, while Brandon Clarke chipped in 14 points, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks. The Grizzlies shot 41.5 percent from the field, including 9-of-40 from deep.

The Grizzlies (31-16) will look to bounce back as they take on the Nuggets in Denver on Friday. The Bucks (28-19) play host to the Bulls on Friday.
