Magic Upsets Bulls, 115-106
The Orlando Magic defeated the Chicago Bulls, 115-106, at United Center on Wednesday night.

The Magic (18-37) unsurprisingly came into the night as road underdogs but played nothing like it in an opening period where they jumped out to a 32-22 lead. However, the Bulls (22-32) nearly flipped the script on the visitors prior to halftime, outscoring Orlando by a 31-22 margin to trail by just one at intermission. The tide of the game would change yet again in the third quarter and in a particularly remarkable way, as the Magic outscored Chicago, 39-19, to take a seemingly commanding 21-point advantage into the final period. The hosts would claw back to get within seven points on multiple occasions in the latter stages of the fourth quarter, but a pair of Michael Carter-Williams free throws sealed the upset victory.

James Ennis led the Magic with 22 points, complementing them with four rebounds, three assists and one block. Wendell Carter, Jr. delivered a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double that included four assists, two steals and one block. Carter-Williams and Gary Harris generated matching 15-point tallies while recording eight rebounds and six assists, respectively. Terrence Ross managed 11 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals. Cole Anthony totaled 10 points, five assists and three rebounds.

Zach LaVine paced the Bulls with 30 points, supplementing them with seven assists, five rebounds, two blocks and one steal. Nikola Vucevic posted a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double that included one assist, two blocks and one steal. Daniel Theis supplied 16 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

The Magic remain on the road but head back to their home state to take on the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, while the Bulls remain home and host the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night as well.
