Hornets Take On Streaking Knicks
The New York Knicks play host to the Charlotte Hornets at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday evening.

The Hornets (28-28) have dropped six of their last 10 games, but they are coming off a win in their most recent outing. They will look to keep rolling and add to their, 14-16, road record, as they face the first game of a two-game road trip. Terry Rozier leads the team, averaging 20.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals, in 34 minutes per game. Devonte' Graham is averaging 14.2 points, 5.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals, while Miles Bridges is averaging 11.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. The Hornets average 110.2 points per game, which is 10th fewest in the league and they are shooting an average of 45.9 percent from the field, which is also 10th lowest in the league. On the other end, they are giving up an average of 111.5 points per game, and they are allowing opponents to shoot an average of 46.6 percent from the field. Gordon Hayward (foot) remains out.

Meanwhile, the Knicks (31-27) have won seven of their last 10 games, including their last six in a row. They will look to keep rolling and add to their, 18-10, home record, as they face the second game of a six-game home stand. Julius Randle continues to lead the way, averaging 23.7 points, 10.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists, in 37 minutes per game. R.J. Barrett is averaging 17.3 points on 45 percent shooting, while Reggie Bullock is averaging 10.0 points, while shooting an average of 40 percent from long range. The Knicks continue to do a good job on the defensive end as they are holding opponents to league-low averages of 104.5 points per game, and 44.1 percent shooting per game. However, they are averaging 106.1 points per game, which is fourth fewest in the league, and they are shooting an average of 45.2 percent from the field, which is ninth worst in the league.
