The Brothers beat the Lions 9-2 on Saturday, evening the series at one apiece. The visitors will send American righty Mitch Lively to the mound for his season debut as they look to take the rubber match. Lively never reached beyond the Triple-A level in the United States but has carved out a career in leagues around the world, including Mexico, Japan and Taiwan. Through two seasons in the CPBL, he owns a 3.62 ERA and an 18.9 percent strikeout rate. Opposing him will be 25-year-old righty Shih Tzu-Chien. Shih has looked good through four starts this season with his 4.09 ERA coming in more than two runs below the league average mark of 6.15. Perhaps most impressively, he's walked just a single batter all season.

Shih is a fine option in his own right, however, as he appears to be turning a corner at the start of his fourth CPBL season, dropping his ERA considerably from last year's 6.42 mark even as scoring soars across the league.
Kuo Fu-Lin, Lions: Kuo makes for a strong captain choice batting out of the number two spot in the Lions' order. While he had a poor game Saturday, he'd been on an 11-game hitting streak and a seven-game scoring streak prior to that contest.
Lin An-Ko, Lions: The choice between Lin and Kuo to lead your lineup is a tough one, but you probably can't go wrong either way. The pair are tied for second in the league with seven home runs, while Lin leads the league with 28 RBI.
Chang Chih-Hao, Brothers: Chang is a strong captain candidate for those siding with the Brothers in this game. The visitors' number three hitter is batting .360 on the season with five home runs. His team-leading 22 RBI are good for fourth in the league.
