  • 4:00 p.m: FURIA vs. Team Liquid

FaZe vs. G2

FaZe are coming off a closely contested 2–1 loss to mousesports in ESL Pro League. It is somewhat worrying that they were not able to capitalize on the fact that woxic had a bit off an off-game on the AWP because they will now be going up against one of the hottest AWPers in the game in G2's kennyS. The Frenchman had a stunning performance in their opening match against TYLOO, posting a K/D differential of +47 with a 73.7 percent success rate in opening duels. Other names worth highlighting are G2's huNter and FaZe's NiKo, two players who are in fine form at the moment. This should be yet another brawl that could go either way, but I would slightly favor G2 due to their current form.

G2 Players to Target: kennyS ($7,200) huNter ($6,600)
FaZe Players to Target: NiKo ($7,200) coldzera ($5,800)

Chaos vs. MAD Lions

Chaos had an excellent start to the Flashpoint season with upset wins against MIBR and Gen.G, the latter being particularly impressive as they were forced to bring in Voltage as a stand-in due to smooya's visa issues. They now find themselves with a 2-1 record after losing to MIBR in the Group B final. MAD Lions, on the other hand, had a rough start to the season as they lost out to HAVU in

Chaos vs.

MAD Lions, on the other hand, had a rough start to the season as they lost out to HAVU in the opening match. Since then, they have been excellent, beating Copenhagen Flames, c0ntact, and HAVU in convincing fashion. Their choice of replacing their seasoned in-game leader HUNDEN is a questionable move, but I still favor them here against the North American side due to their strong fundamentals. Bubzkji has long been considered the main man on this MAD Lions roster, but I would take a strong look at players like sjuush and acoR, who have been on the rise recently.

MAD Lions Players to Target: acoR ($9,600) sjuush ($9,400) Bubzkji ($8,600)
Chaos Players to Target: SicK ($7,200) Voltage ($5,600)

FunPlus Phoenix vs. c0ntact

FunPlus Phoenix entered CS:GO with the acquisition of the former Heroic roster, a deal that eventually fell through as Heroic's es3tag opted not to extend his contract and join Astralis instead. After the deal fell through, the North American team Swole Patrol received an invite and were supposed to be playing under the FunPlus Phoenix name for the rest of the season. However, it was just announced that the MDL team Bad News Bears will get the spot instead. Yes, this is all a bit confusing, so confusing in fact that DraftKings posted the old FPX roster for this slate at first. Make sure not to select FPX players unless you know that they are actually playing. As for c0ntact, they are playing this league with rallen as a stand-in for LETN1 due to visa issues. Their 1–2 record is far from stellar considering the opposition, but they should still have what it takes to dismantle FunPlus Phoenix. The likes of SHiPZ, ottoNd and EspiranTo were key players for this team when they won DreamHack Open Rotterdam in October of last year, and they are well worth targeting on DraftKings. If you wish to take the contrarian route and grab a FunPlus Phoenix player, I would go for dapr, who leads his team in Kills/Round (0.87) and K/D ratio (1.40) over 25 maps.

c0ntact Players to Target: EspiranTo ($8,000) SHiPZ ($7,800) ottoNd ($7,600)
FunPlus Phoenix Players to Target: dapr (N/A)

FURIA vs. Team Liquid

Team Liquid bounced back from a surprising loss to Swole Patrol by beating 100 Thieves by a score of 2–0 to grab their second win in ESL Pro League. Team Liquid established themselves as one of the world's strongest teams in 2019, and they are coming in as clear favorites in this matchup against FURIA. FURIA have yet to play an ESL Pro League match this season, but we saw them in action at some of the LAN tournaments at the start of the year. They grabbed second place at DreamHack Open Anaheim in February with wins against Endpoint, North and Complexity before falling at the hands of Gen.G in the finals. You would have to favor Team Liquid in this matchup, but the likes of yuurih, kscerato and HEN1 make for solid picks if you want to go for a contrarian lineup.

Liquid Players to Target: EliGE ($9,200) NAF ($8,200) Twistzz ($8,200)
FURIA Players to Target: HEN1 ($7,000) yuurih ($6,400) kscerato ($5,600)
