A high elbow to the throat of Geelong's Patrick Dangerfield in Friday's upset victory of the Cats led to the latter being substituted before quarter time, then sent to the hospital for evaluation, AFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The elbow, part of a failed attempt to shrug off a tackle by Dangerfield, seems likely to draw the attention of the Match Review Officer and could impact GWS' overall chances of advancing to the finals, this after the GIants' upset of Geelong lifted them into that AFL's top eight. Greene finished Friday's contest with 16 disposals, a game-high four goals and a single mark, behind, tackle and clearance each.

Green was reported for striking Nic Newman in an off-ball incident early in the third period of GWS' 102-66 victory over Carlton on Saturday, AFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
According to AFL,.com, Greene struck Newman in the stomach on a round arm blow early in the third quarter of Saturday's match, then went on to make contact with the reporting official. The GWS forward would ultimately close out the game tied with Lache Whitfield as the Giants' No. 2 in fantasy scoring (119 points) after accumulating 20 disposals, eight marks, four goals, two behinds and a tackle and goal assist each, but now awaits a review by the MRO to determine his overall eligibility heading into a Round 15 match-up with Hawthorn.
